Powerful, earthy, and full-bodied, this is the bean for those who like full control over their brew — grind coarse for a slow cold brew, or fine for a strong decoction. No chicory, no compromise.
Brewing suggestion: Best ground fresh just before brewing. Excellent for cold brew (coarse grind) or a strong decoction base (fine grind). Holds up well with generous milk.

Yes. We grind every order the morning of dispatch — not weeks in advance. That's the promise we've kept since 1953, and it's the reason your coffee tastes the way it does when it reaches you.
Fine Grind works best for a traditional filter or moka pot. Medium Fine Grind suits an everyday drip brew. Coarse Grind is right for French press or cold brew. If you're not sure, Fine Grind is the traditional South Indian filter coffee choice.
For the best flavour, we recommend brewing within 3–4 weeks of your grind date. Keep the pouch sealed and stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight — the resealable pouch is designed for this.
Chicory content varies by blend — you'll find the exact ratio (from 0% to 40%) listed in this product's description above. If you prefer pure coffee with no chicory, look for The Arabica or The Robusta.
